Buy a K30 Chevy and rip the axles and drivetrain out of it and put it under the blazer with a 6" softride lift and cut the fenders nearly off for clearance.

yup, one of those 2. and you will need to have the driveshafts lengthened on anything more than 4" of lift. And how much wheeling do you intend on doing? d60 and 14 bolt are a must. and decide on your gears.. i would say if you have any road time your gonna want 5.13:1 gears

he wants 42's but almost the same thing, the pic of my truck is about six inches of lift and a whole lot of fender and cab trimming

I have 44"s on a 74 blazer, 15" suspension (12" Procomp,3" Front Shackles) Rear shackle flip kit and 3" body lift( I wish I never did the body lift) But No fenders are trimed, but the fenders do hit the tires a little, if it flexes hard enough or real hard jump. Turned up Dana 44 Front, Turned up 14bolt Rear, 5:29's gears.
The Procomp is actually a pretty soft ride, I've riddin in rougher trucks with 6" lifts. Hope this helps.

Had an 87 K5 with 44" boggers. 9" suspension, 3" body lift, cut fenders. Locked Dana 60's. You'll need to upgrade. You will also look at drive angles at this point and you better have a healthy engine to pull the meats along
