front chevy D60,detoit, just replaced all bearings, seals, spindles, and inner short shaft and u-joint. but didn't mess with replaceing the long side shaft or u-joint. Replace the inner seals also
I wheeled it for a weekend and everything was fine till i got hung up, and gave it hell. I had the front end all flexed up. finally got pulled off and it wouldn't turn worth a shit. I also have the agr ram, and i saw that the shaft was bent. had it replaced.
It turns fine in 2wd, but when its in 4wd, it binds up. And also now my inner seal on the drivers side is leaking, So i'm wondering do you all think the u-joint i didn't replaced is binding? Or do you think i bent the inner long shaft? since the inner seal is leaking now? any ideas
thanks
Nilla

I'm thinking your shaft is bent

man i had the same problem you should check your hubs to make sure they were installed properly. with Warn's i know you are supposed to install them in the unlocked position. try that before you go too extreems

well its doing it in 2wd now but not as bad as 4wd. i tried lifting the front and it does not do it then. But i'm thinking that i have air in my hydraulic system it's been leaking from one of the hoses.
So i guess i'll try bleeding it and replace the line and go from there.
After that i'll try redoing the hubs.
thanks
