any one else have problems with the factory radiator mount in the mid to late 70s model k series trucks? my radiator keeps falling out of the mount and smashing my electric fan on the water pump. any one ever modded the mounts or fabbed up new one that is willing to help with ideas please tell or show me how you did it.

had a truck like that i just folded up some vinal sheets under the top radiator mounts. problem fixed

i had that problem, i used a tailgate seal from a garbage truck under the top hold down support.

probably 1 1/2 thick foam rubber to take up the space and hold the rad. tight.
no problems since.
