If you are not in a raging hurry maybe we can figure out how to get them without shipping costs?

Go to the Sportsman's Guide. Website is here (http://www.sportsmansguide.com/) . They are pretty cheap there, and they seem to usually have some in stock.

I just found some, item W99-23686, "Swiss 5gal Gas Can". $11.97 each, $5 shipping surcharge each. Also used Swiss (WX1-52225) and German (WX0-43504) ones for $9.97 each, apparently with no shipping surcharge, just the regular shipping rate. They also have the nozzles for $7 each, new.

I also have a ceramic-lined jerry can for water that I got new from those guys for I think $15. I haven't seen them there lately, though.

No affiliation, just a happy customer. :)

Dirk Rautenberg at Unimog Wherehaus (http://www.unimogwherehaus.com) has the "good" brass nozzles for the NATO cans.
