One of my buddies and I were doing a little wrenching this afternoon, and we had Yeller up on the rack, we found a broken tranny mount, and decided to fix it, during a Shiner break we noticed the passenger side front shackle was completely missing the inner half, all that was left was the lower eye and 1/2" of metal, if you notice this picture I posted of the running board bracket, the spring is against the frame, have no idea how long it's been broke.

Ahhh, Butch... Kristie could fix that in 2 minutes with her bare hands... I was expecting "minor" to mean a xfer case sheared in two. Put together with some JB Weld to get in six more hours of wheeling, before making it back to camp, to tig weld a new one from some plate you spotted on the trail.... :p

Meanwhile I had "fun" yesterday in hauling off more scrap metal to the metal place, and brush cleaning up the back yard. Now I remember why I haven't moved for 9 years...

We don't drink Shiner in cans.............unless you are really gonna bounce it around a lot prior.........very hard to locate in cans in fact. That would be like drinking Champagne from a dixie cup.
