I did a search and found at least 3 people that had put Avengers on their rigs. SO WHERE ARE THE FAWKIN' TRAIL REPORTS? :confused: :confused: :confused:

Just finished my proyest yesterday. I have a Truck avenger in my 350. No trail report yet, but for now I can tell you that the engine started in the first try, and I was very exited cause this engine sat for 3 years. The avenger run my sbc at 1000 rpm at idle, out of the box. (I will go to 750-800). In the street, the response is great, but you need to think that I'm coming from a tired 258 though. Next sunday I will go to the dunes, here in the central coast of Chile, so I will post my comments righ away. We are planing a trip for the 6th of July were you can find a garden of rocks, so I guess that will be a good test.

Please let us know how it does in the rocks, as this is where most of us will use it.

Another idea is run a Motorcraft 2100. I run one on my 304 and another one on a 258. They run well at all angles, cost $25 from a yard and $15 to rebuild.

NO, I want a trail report on the AVENGER! I know all the options, I want to see how a PURPOSE built carb does. The magazine gave it a great review, but they are biased. I want someone to give an HONEST review of how it works in the REAL world! Not Magazine world where injected crate engines grow on trees, or when you go to freshen up the paint on your Jeep and end up with a custom frame, axles, tires, :barf: couldn't finish sorry........
