i was introduced 2 this site buy some people at the Hump N Bump jeep run last weekend in Logandle, Nv


i'm 15 years old i'm intested in gettin into jeep speed and thers some affordable jeeps in town
i've done some HomeWork but i just want 2 make shure

either 2 door or 4 door woorks 4 door has its advanatges

and i was told either 4wd or 2wd depends where you race/run better 2 buy a 4wd jeep and have a 2wd axle ready 2 go..


hers my questions.. it wont be a full out race vehicle for atleast 4 years.. so what should i get 2wd or 4wd? its gona just be a weekend play toy for going 2 the desert or the dunes.. it wont be my town truck so i dont have 2 worry about that (i have a 87 gmc high sierra)

and i know its better to get a 6cylender but how would a 4cylender do?

Go with the 4.0 motor for sure and I would go with a 4 wheel drive if you do not plan on racing for quite a few years.

I like the fact that you are starting early.

wont a 2wd provide more travel though? or does it mention it in the fourms?

A 2WD axle may allow you more up travel. Spend most of your money on shocks. They make all the difference. Check the classifides on racedezert.com for some good deals, also the 4sale on the Jeepspeed forrum.
Like RockBuggy Supply said, don't waste your time with the 4cylinder.

step 1: attain drivers license...lol.

haha i got my permit and 5 months untill i get my liscens .. i already had the driveing time requirement before i got my permit :D


i check creigslist alot and thers one in vegas for $600 with no problems.. and one for $400.00 that has issues with the crank


last weekend i could of afforded either of them but some idiot hit me while i was on my dirtbike last weekend at the hump n bump in logandle and i spent all my money replaceing the broken parts now i'm down to $200.00


Freakin @$$ didnt even make shure i was ok



but i'm still savein for a jeep just doing my hw
