Im building a k5, its my first 4x4 build. I have an np203 but no transmission. Iv'e never had to deal with t-case before so my question is, can I use a th350 or a th400 out of a car?

not without work.

they use different output shafts.

they use different adapters

they have different splines.

be sure to check.

my turbo 350 has 27 splines and both 400's have 32. so, count the splines on the front of the box. The Adapters are different that bolt in between. the driveshafts are different. 3" longer for the front if it's a t400 back shortened the same. what axles do you have??? Heck you can even put it behind a POS 700 if you get the adapter. Get more specific with the rest of your running gear.
