Is it normal to have my card charged before they ship my parts? Apparently the parts are backordered and they don't know for sure when they will be in.

Back when I was doing a lot of Financial work, this was illegal. It is "recognizing revenue without delivering the product"..or something like that (there is some term used but I don't remember) . I wonder what the IRS would have to say about that.

for me they pre autorized the charge but it didnt go into effect until delivered but it put a hold on the card for that sum of money so that when the parts came in they could be payed and that way you didnt spend there money on that new ATLAS ehehheeh :D :flipoff2:

I used a debit card and the money came out of the bank the next day(wed.) I called today and they said call back the end of the week and they will see if there is a tracking # yet. Did you go up this weekend sean?

Drive Train Warehouse = FourWheel Parts Wholesale. They are one and the same. So expect the same service! In other words NONE:eek:

The local 4wpw store had treated me well so I do expect the same.

Dustin,

See what happens when you stray....You slut.

As a general rule, Charge the card if it's likely you will ship the product within 48 hours or if the part is a special order that is not stocked by that retailer.
