why the 4th?

The event was held on the 4th weekend last year, and since it is the begining of the long weekend for most, and the fact it affords the teams to be there, and since most that will watch will then be able to go to the con, it made the most sence.

Directions/information

July 4th
spectator gates open at 8am competition to start at 9am

Donner Ski Ranch, interstate 80 to Norden Exit, couple of miles on left side of road, across from Sugar Bowl Ski Resort.

This is a fund-raiser for Friends of the Rubicon
