I have searched the Forums and read the Dana 60 tech page but need some more info. I was gave a F-350 by a nice lady that would like it hauled off but have not looked at it yet, I was told that it is a 82-85 single wheel has a 460 with a rod knocking and 4-speed. Will it have a Dana 60 front and rear?

85 and newer would have it. 80-84 would have a D50 TTB

I was told that this truck has leaf springs under the front, So I guess this would make it a 1985? What rear-end would be under it?

not necessarily, the TTB d50 had leaf springs, but i don't remembe what years

I thought TTB was a Twin Traction Beam.

yes, but they put leaf springs with TTB in 250's and 350's.

D50 TTB front yes. Although a few duallies in 85 had a 60 front.

HMMMM, I have a really weird idea. Why don't you go look at the damn thing, then you'll know what is unddr it, assuming that you can tell the dif between a KP D60 and a TTB D50.

I'm going to look at the Damn thing today, I just thought somebody on here would know what is under a 80's F-350 and yes I have read the Dana 60 bible and searched for the info.

Don't assume anything. He wants to know what's under an 80's f350. ya know the one axle all the 1980-1990 f350's had. jeeze, he read the bible and searched so he knows that they all had the same axle in the 80's. :homer:
