dana 44, backspacing and 17x10 wheels? [Archive]

here is the question, can I fit a 17x10 wheel on a 44 with more than 5" back spacing??????

I know that it will work with 5, but I was hoping to be able to run with 6" BS, I'd run slugs so the hubs don't get taken out on rocks, I was thinking it may take a special high steer arm that dosen't come strait out, but is angled in, and would only use the high steer arms and not the stock locations off the knuckles.

anyone make a high steer arm like this?
