well, in the process of stripping down my axle months ago, the vent tub, where the brakeline 't' is, broke.

now, i know i need a vent on it. what can i use or where can i find another vent tube with a barb to use there??

Mine was 1/4" or 5/16" flare thread. It just unscrewed from the tube.

It doesn't necessarily need a barb. There isn't a lot of pressure there, a hose clamp will keep the hose on even a smooth tube. Maybe braze a nut onto a brass nipple? It would work.
