With the new steering for the fullsize I could not use the stock mount so this is what we did.

Does a stabalizer work as well mounted on the drag link? I had mine on the tie rod, mounted kind of low, mashed the hell out of it on the first trip with my D44's. I need to mount one similar to yours on my YJ.

I know they are best used on the tie rod, but are they still effective ont he drag link? Thanks, I know Samurai's are factory to the drag link.

Is it just me, or does it look like the threaded end of that stabilizer is already bent to shit?

It looks bent to me, about to go :nuke: . Good lookin mount tho, just some angles to be figured out. Do ya really need a stabalizer? Maybe its a TJ thing, havn't had one one my YJ for 6 years now, dont miss it.

I think as soon as your get some good right front droop, it's just gonna snap off....

HEEYYY!!!! that mount looks familiar! (Except my stabilizer isn't bent)

Does it work going from drag link to frame? Yes. Hint: Look under any newer Full size Dodge truck, I'm sure theres other make/models that do it too. ;)

heres a similar idea on my cherokee, but mounted to the track bar bracket. I should flip the shock around so it has more clearance with the wet sump.
I like the shock parell with the drag link.

With the 40" boggers I needed one.
