well I'll be running full hydro steer and hydro boost brakes on my bucket this year and I need to know what to run for a pump.

I have the mustang pump on the mustang motor and just assume use that but will it push enough to run the chevy hydro brakes and the full steer? I'll have a a/c cooler as my cooler w/ a fan for this set up. lemme know what you know.

i think the cooler is a must. If it is a sag. pump i would mod it for more flow, but not more pressure. You will prolly need more flow in order to hold the brakes and turn at the same time...

Phil,

toss the ford pump and use the diesel sag. pump that came on the ford vans. Ford pump was crap on a car and I don't think you'd be happy with it on a Jeep. Snowball can hook you up with a new one.

see ya,

I use the saginaw pump with the pressure boost mod and it works fine, I have hydro boost and hydro assist steering. I've never had a problem turning and braking at the same time. The GM saginaw Hydro boost pump has the two return fittings on the reservoir and a the reservior has a remote filler that allows for a little more fluid in the system.
