I got a Dana 70U axle that needs to be re-geared it's stock right now, question, will 456 gears work on the carrier? I've heard stories that you need a different carrier. Is this true?

actually, the carrier break is 4.10/4.56, so youll need a new carrier for your 4.56s unfortunately.

Ok now I'm hearing 2 different stories. Where can I find some info confirming this? Thanks for the reply.
