: 4wd suv mag?

i was reading the mag and it had this thing about a jeep on a suzuki frame what do you all think of that? and i saw it gave some one a link to pirate4x4.com does someone here work for them?

Not sure if anyone works for them, but there always seems to be references to p4x4 in there.

As far as that rig. Many people will frown upon it because it's not a true Jeep any more, but neither are the ones running custom tube frames and V8's.

I actually kinda like it. The similarities in the size of the old flatfenders and the zuks are really close. The zuk has a boxed frame that is pretty close to the right dimensions. The best thing is they are much easier to find than an old Jeep frame.

Lame. Front track bar mount on the axle shows the quailty of work behind it. You do all that susp. work and nice motor work and then put dink axles in it. <IMG SRC="smilies/confused.gif" border="0"> It's hardly flexin and it looks like it's going to fall over. <IMG SRC="smilies/rolleyes.gif" border="0">

Those are my thoughts on that one also. I can't figure out why he would have put zuk axles in there. It would not have been much more work or money to put in either D44's or Toyota axles, both of which would have been nearly bullet proof with that light weight.

that's the first thing I thought when I looked at that magazine... the truck has a 4.3L vortec in it and the retard puts sammy axles in it... I mean come awn man!!!! Those axles will break like twigs left right and centre!!!!!

i'm with badfish, they went to all that trouble of building a decent rig and then kept the lame zuk axles ... come awn ...
