Hi Patrick and Johnny.... Yesterday afternoon Lance told me that it rained pretty hard the day before so I expect they will be seeing alot of water in the washes, gullies etc. The motorcycle leaders have passed RM65 and are getting it.

Looks to me like ion earth is having problems with their system. The Irc tracking shows the Trophy Trucks are off and running. Hope they fix it soon. The motorcycles are approaching race mile 200. Looks like 104X never made it off the starting line and 259X has been stopped around RM 135 for about 15 minutes. Renae can you see Petes truck moving indicating a speed. Ion shows them still sitting in Ensenada on mine.

I've got the IRC stuff up and running and it's great. Just would like to see the others too. I hate living vicariously through the internet. I'll have to get some TECATE on the way home from my nuke cubicle world.

Same here, but I didn't hear that it was the SCORE chopper. I did hear that SCORE2 was being dispached to Mike's Skyranch. Do we have a confirmation on which chopper it is.

I just got a call from Bob Roggy wanting to know where the two jeepspeeds were. I'll keep everyone updated since they now know I'm tracking. Roggy and Camo get in their Jeepspeeds at the same spot...if there anywhere close to each other this should be interesting!

My wife just thanked me for not going this year. She sits awake all night every time I head south listening to weatherman, she says this is the worst she has heared since 05. Lots of trouble, I hope everyone is listening down there and keeps a cool head.

OK - questions for the chase teams: Was it not explained to you that when you switch to the WM channel that you monitor the channel for at least 30 sec before calling for WM? That way you don't walk over ongoing conversations and can get a sense of what is going on. Frustrating.

it would be nice if they would bump teh squelch up a hair on 151.625 receiver that's feeding the online WM feed.

it's typical at night once the bands open up some for you to get a little more noise on the frequency. They are picking up distant transmissions that are strong enough to break squelch but not strong enough as to be readable.

Taking diligent notes from relays to WM. It was broadcast earlier in the day.

BFG 1 @ RM 121
BFG 2 @ RM 177
BFG 3 @ RM 321 according to my notes

Q: did they ever confirm what was the issue with the biker down at RM286? The guy 1404 is going in after? At one point I thought i heard a broken leg, but i'm thinking WM relay had that confused with the broken leg at CP3. Anyone?

And that bike sounded like he had a broken leg and a chase team was trying to find him but they were having trouble locating the road to get to him on.

Ashcrafts racing #1646 has been pulling the fawk away from McMillan's 1600 (currenty stoped), and has been slowly realing in Jesse James in the #54TT, that's GETTING IT!!!

I'm impressed that Jesse James made it past RM 78! He's had an issue at almost every race this year and that RM, no matter what race it was. Poor Jesse! Glad to see he's still moving and motivating!!!
