I'm looking at putting D60's in my CJ, but I:
1. Don't have a Welder
2. Suck at welding =P

I may have to outboard my springs, not sure as the measurements haven't been done. But definately need help welding on the rear spring perches, and all of the shock mounts.

Any local shops, or anybody want to help? I could probably cough up some $$ for your upgrades =P but I'm *scared* of what any legit shop would want to do the work.

Also, reccomendations on where to get my drivelines shortened? And I'm sure I'll need some custom 8-lug 15" wheels as well...

Yo John, just get yourself a welder and give me a call, I'm sure we could make a weekend project out of it

Oh yeah, you supply the and

Seriously, if you are gonna be wheeling much, a welder(even a old AC buzzbox) would be a good investment since I'm sure you will break more stuff.(I've seen you wheel )

Jess-ROFL @ your pic! Is that before the 35's?
Check out the 60's: http://www.geocities.com/eimages23/dana60pair/images/index.htm

Think it's sane to weld on brand new axles (!cast!) when I can't barely arc a straight bead?

Glad to see you made it back to school OK, I called you but you didn't answer, hippy.

No dumba$$, that's why I said I'd go Road trip and help you. Then you can learn yourself to weld on some less critical stuff.

Yeah, that pic is before the new tires. ~12" lift and 32s makes for some funny lookin pics.

He would be my suggestion him and SnortClown do some sweet work. They are in Stanwood I think it may be a bit hard to get ahold of them for the next week they are working a few rigs for NWRCA next weekend. I am unsure of what they charge but I don't believe they will be to bad on price. Where are you at? WA is kind a big
