Hi,
It's quiet here so.....
I just moved my spare wheel from the wheel carrier to inside the back. It's standing up on the (us) drivers side wheel well in a hard top, and fits in there perfect. Fabbed up a small bracket to pull it towards the tub so it's locked in solid.
The difference in opening the rear door with no weight on it is unreal!

A red star, and no Pics?
What size is the spare, ie how much space is taken up?

Wilbur,
Merv is talking about a D90 not a Disco.
What the hell are you doing on this board?
Aren't you a cardcarrying Discoweber? :flipoff2: :flipoff2:
It's worse that that folks, Red Star and no digi camera!!!!!
I'm meeting up with a buddy over the weekend (Ivor - a few of you folks have met him) and I'll get a few.
I had a wheel carrier on there, swinging from the bodywork. It was about 3 years old, and the bushes were well worn and it was rattling like hell.
The tire is a 35-12.50-15. There is about 2" or so over the tire before it hits the roof, so I guess a 37 would fit?
So, Pictures on Monday

he's also talking about a european 90 which has the metal top with no windows. So it's probably going to be quite different. Basically it's Merv's Molester Van.
