well dad and i went out on a 2hour drive to get a t-case for me.....:flipoff2: (i paid 50$ canadian for it, how sweet it is......its a 83 though, still got the same stock gears but i can't get them cut and welded for a 4:1......o well.......
anyways after buying that dad said he remembers a guy out this way that used to have a few zukis that he bought a part off of about 8 years ago:eek: :eek: :eek: ..... anyways we started looking around for the place, then we found it, he still had 2 zukis in back, he sold anouther last week for 50$ with warn hubs(body was toast, toyota engine that was sceezed and well nothing realy good but the guy only wanted a front end) so anyways the other 2......... he said, and i quote...... "Give me 50$ and take both of out of the $%^&# yard....." so we gave em the money......:D , (well part of it to hold them) one is not too bad, both have stock engines not sceezed, all good drive train ect. one's body is nothing left, but the other will be made into a off-road buggy for my brother...... but both have ALL good glass, both are tin tops like mine and dads zukis.....
anyways, the year...... i know there some where between 82-84, just not sure what...... anyone know how to tell the years exact??? we'll be getting them this week some time.......going to cost more to bring them home then we paid for em......

i just hope one is a 84, but what gets me kinda pissed is that i just bought a t-case out of one for 50$ now were buying 2 complete zukis with cases for 50$........ o well, still worth 50.....:D :D jellious boys........???.......:D

To find out in what year it was manufactured just look down beside your left foot on the inside of the rocker panel. There will be a plate with the date and place of manufacture. (at least here in the states anyway!) Hope this helps!

even on the old yellow one that the floor fell right out of??????? there must be a way to tell by the VIN...... like last 4 digist is date or something??? anything like that????

To find out what the year is by the vin its the tenth digit in the vin if its a A-80, B-81, C-82, D-83, E-84, F-86 and so on. Hope this helps
