Just wondering, people have been bitching about them for quite a while but I have never seen a picture of the actual setup busted. I figured since they get bashed so much there should be at least one picture of one busted online.

I have one and haven't had a single problem with it.. Frankly I'm sick of hearing people bitch about them when they don't have a clue. They hear other people say they suck, and they just repeat what they hear as if it's gospel....
I'm sure you could turn up a pic or two of a broken one, but show me something that you can't break. I guess 1 broken out of 50,000 = junk :D

I think it more depends on what your doing in the tcase. swap some 4:1 gears in it, I understand snapping an output shaft is fairly easy when running the stock unit.

If it were me though, I'de save some more pennies, go with the 32 spline upgrade.

I have a snapped output shaft at the house. Didn't have the hack and tap kit or any other SYE and it snapped in 2. I can get pics later if you want em.

That is the exact point of the post, if I had asked for a busted D60 U joint there would already be 5 pics. Maybe this will make a few of the crap spewers shut the fuck up.

The whole damned case is a piece of shit, why would I make the rear output way stronger then the chain, gearset and case? Doesn't make any sence to me. I think I will save my pennys for a gear driven case. The cost alone is unreal you can buy a whole good case for the price of many of the SYEs out there.

Come on one of the shit sturrers has to have one, the guy right down the street from me says he has repaired many many broken ones and says he refuses to install one (not like I cared) but even he was unable to produce the proof. He also of course tried to get me to buy an AA unit for about 4x the price :rolleyes: .
