I just bought a couple of Toyota pick up driveshafts from a 1999 truck, and I had two big and good discovers:
1) This model comes with CV joints at front and rear, not only front. Rear CV has 70º and front CV has 50º.
2) Drive shaft guide is quite similar, I only had to machine 1/2 mm to match Toy driveshaft to samu flange, and much better, bolt pattern was the same.
This was the only solution for driveline vibration on my 8" lifted samurai, really solved all the problems.

Thanks for the info. I assume that the lengths worked out fine too? How much spline do the Toyota shafts have?

I believe that Rockrat was refering to the older Toyota IFS front shafts with a single CV for $75. I still would like to know what the price of the '99 double CV's were...

You could see that I bought them overseas, so I don't know the price in the states.

I found a '99 frt & rear at a yard tody for $450 ..... How do the older CV type work? I looked at an 82 with a front CV and a 98 with a rear CV today.
