However, if he sells it, I'm quitting my job and building those all day long. Sell one or two a year, and you're golden!

Yeah. Nice Jeep. Not $95,000 nice, but hey, maybe he's just trying to convince his wife he's really trying to sell it while he really knows that (at that price) it'll stay right there in his garage, safe and sound.

This guy is some salesman (I don't mean that in a good way...)

Mated to the cast iron bellhousing, is the ultimate off road transmition, the venerable SM420(rebuilt). Yes, the whining straight cut gears let you know you aren't shifting a Lexus, but the performance is simply unparalleled.

BWAAAAHAHAAHAHAHAAAAAAA!

he can't even spell "transmition" :D

"Opportunities like this don't come along often in life; don't let another bidder take this from you. Bid now, bid with confidence, bid to win."!!!!!

Yeah, it is not often you get the chance to get anal-raped AND empty your bank account at the same time!!

That is a damn nice Jeep, but I won't pay $95,000 for anything that doesn't have (in a Ricardo Altoban voice) "Rich Corinthian Leather" I like the theory that he is trying to please his wife's request to sell his beloved Jeep, if I were forced to sell something I worked that hard on I'd stick $95,000 on the reserve too. This may require some investigation, if he's just a tool trying to get a mint for a nice Jeep that someone else built for him, then everyone on this board should send a rainbow to his house, if he's being forced to sell it because of something that bleeds for a week and doesn't die, then we should all buy him a beer.

The fricking :rainbow: narrative reads like one of those infomercials. Something is really weird here, and I don't think its the flatty. I hate to say it, I think the guy is serious.

Gawkers will stare in awe as you flip the switch that controls the retractable light to show the artistry under the dash;

Please don't tell me there's neon!
Just don't tell me that!

adjust the tilt wheel and you know you have found euphoria.

Why, does it pull down into your crotch and vibrate??

Messages will be had from the modified Midland 120 channel detachable face CB

120 channels?? Cool. now you can talk to ALL the other blvd cruisers with sideband

Yes, the whining straight cut gears let you know you aren't shifting a Lexus

Of course you're not driving a Lexus, A LEXUS IS CHEAPER!! YOU F***IN' IDIOT

In fact, it traversed the World famous Rubicon trial in northern California last summer without any problems.

Sorry, but I had to look this one up...

To television viewers, he is remembered as Mr. Roarke, the mysterious host of Fantasy Island (1978-1984), and as pitchman for the "rich Corinthian leather" of Chrysler Cordobas. Montalban also played creepy superdude Khan, Captain Kirk's nemesis in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Kahn.

Whoops, you're right, Montalban, I think everyone knew who I was talking about. I'm going to have to stop working on my Jeep and go in the house once in a while, it seems like those Cordoba adds were on TV last time I watched.

Conquered the famous Rubicon trail with no rocker guards? Must be nice. Also, I love the fact that it has genuine two-piece wheels with "rock rash". I bet this homo has a little rock rash himself!

Just my .02!

Go back and look at the space between his front fender and top of wheel, then compare to yours....way different!

I see there are still no bids, wonder why? I took another look at the pictures, is it just me, or is the rollcage wrapped in electrical tape? All that money and he couldn't spring for custom sewn roll cage padding? I wonder if he has slip covers for the seats, prolly wears latex gloves to drive it.

Uhh... did he call it a Rock Crawler? ....$95,000......:bounce2: I wish I was so rich I could buy shit like that and thrash it on the rocks... ....he should have left the axles full width, this rig would definitely roll in my hands......other than that it's pretty sweet...

I has a reciver mount for the winch and it is shown in one of the trail pics. I think for the cash involved, I would ask that he include that, Small less that 1% item

Not to jump on the bandwagon...but I just had to write something and contribute to the lunacy of this idiot...

I think next time I put something on ebay I'll cap it off with "It would be an outstanding addition to your family, or to the trailer behind your RV. Opportunities like this don't come along often in life; don't let another bidder take this from you. Bid now, bid with confidence, bid to win."

I think he has suffered from several hits on the head too much. This should be in Robbe Report and not Ebay. If this jeep (if I can still call it that) represents his investing habits then he probably had a ton of aol, enron, and tyco and needs to offload this before he loses his ass off on another investment. Although I dont think anyone with the sophistication to get "spun aluminum tanks" to accumulate all of his waste...isn't that how they make trash cans?

4Bangler
07-16-2002, 09:14 AM
I see he acutally got 6 bids, up to $33,000, but still didn't hit his reserve. That is a damn nice Jeep, but $33,000? Well, that's a little more reasonable than $95,000, but he's still on crack.

If I'm going to pay that much for a flat fender, it better look something like this....
