I'm starting my build up withing a few weeks.... I'm going to be running 2.5" springs, with 1" lift shackles, 3.5" in total, ontop of an SOA. I will be running a 14 bolt and d 60 front, booth full width.

In the end, i guess it will be about 8.5" lift, I'am going to trim body, and eventually stretch it :D

The question is, how big of tires can fit under my junk?

Thanks,
Neil

you can probably fit 44-46", but unless your wheels have 0 backspacing, you'll have the turning radius of the titanic.

I wouldn't put that much lift in one without stretching it. You are going to be damned high for that short wheelbase. SOA alone you can usually fit 36" or so tires. You should be able to fit 42" no problem with that much lift.

I ran a YJ SOA on custom 1" springs (bastard packs) with a 1" Shackle. It was plenty high and my 33's looked dumb.

I agree. It would get tippy fast from front to rear! A sawzall does wonders for tire clearance.

I'm on SOA 1.5 springs, 3 inch BL with my 95 YJ and I can clear 42's with no body mods. Trust me, it's too high.

I have ~5" of lift and can clear 40's no problem...

Unless the Jeep is for Mudbogging, keep it low and stable.

Im looking to run 44's, but also want a decent amount of flex..... I dont think 8.5" being the absolute highest the lift will turn out, will be that bad.... I can always lower it...

Anyone got pics of a similar setup on 44"s or bigger?
