yes I have searched but carn't find a staight answer...
I want to convert my 6 stud waggy 44 front axle to eight stud to match my new rear 60...
If I want to use the 1/2 ton single piston brakes I have...do I just need to find a HD ford 44 hubs, rotors and a set of big bearing spindles or.... is there something else that runs eight lug that will fit...

Jeep j20 8 lugs will work same brakes just different hubs,I think chevy is the same but not sure. :mad3:

Yeah just get a complete 3/4 ton D44 or 10 bolt from a chevy and put all the goodies on including the calipers.

You won't need the spindles or calipers. Just grab the caliper brackets, rotors, and hubs of a Jeep J20, or 3/4 ton Chevy D44 or 10bolt.

Just steal the parts from any 8 lug D44 or 10 bolt. Rotors, wheel studs, hubs, and caliper brackets.
Check out your local junkyards, they should have what you're looking for.
