Anyone have any experience with these? Might be worth while if it truly cuts significantly faster... any ideas where to purchase for the HF bandsaw?

Did you notice the extreme amount of coolant/lube being supplied to the blade?? Does the HF do that? Mine dosen't. I just lost most of the teeth off a Lenox bi-metal making 3 cuts in bedframe angle!!!

No offense but after reading up on lenox blades on pirate and others experiences, your specific problems are more likely due to user error or faulty equipment. I am pretty sure the going concern for structual steel here on pirate does not necessitate a cooling system when cutting unless its thick or something of a harder nature. Although my expertise is not of this area but being able to cut a said 31 times faster or even half of that would be of great use!!!

I've been using the Bi-metal blades from McMaster-Carr they have held up quite well.

Holding up well is one thing but potentially cutting 31x faster is another.... I am still trying to track this down for correct size for the HF bandsaw (64.5 x 5)

bed frame angle is not normal steel. Im not sure what it is but its sorta spring steel-ish.. I have wruined blades cutting it and other wise good drill bits drilling it..
That said.. I've been running Lenox die-master II variable pitched blades for the last 5 years on my HF band saw. If your saw is messed up and not set straight no blade can help that.. I initially was using a 8/12 pitch blade and the last batch I ordered 10/14. The courser blade is great on heavy stock (1/4" but will rip and bounce on smaller stuff. The 10/14 is a great all around blade.
NOTE: I set the belt speed on the high setting. This is how these blades need to run, it helps eject the chips out.. And typically they run a long time 8-12months (150+ cuts) of all sizes/shapes/flat/interupted etc..
I usually dork up a blade when it gets pinched when I've got some junk rigged up in there and it lets loose..
Correct the HF saw takes 64.5"x.5" (thats 1/2" wide) when I order them they ship them in 2-3 days... (I wrote it right on the side of the saw and inside the cover)

Don't bother. The smallest size is 1.25" wide and about 3TPI. No way a HF band saw would pull it. You would need a very well controlled feed rate, a ton of power and coolant, and a much stronger blade support mechanism.. Using that blade on a HF band saw would be like chucking an 8"dia milling cutter into a HF drill press and expecting it to work milling cylinder heads in one pass. Stick with a good bi metal blade.
