I need a long side rear axle for a good friend. In Indiana, whos got one?

Mike there is a break in the production on them, don't know if it is 60-62 or what, I sent a LS shaft down to Austin to Edwin Kincaid, and the area around the bearing was larger than his. It would not go into his bearing.......maybe someone knows. I don't know the source of my axle, came in a pile of parts I bought, one of the items was a 60-62 rear axle with a junk pumpkin...

We don't know the origin of the axle housing either. It is on a project rig based on a sami with Cruiser axles. The ls is hacked up at the c clip and he wants to replace it.

Are you saying you have an unknown axle that might be right? If so I can get the bearing surface measurement for comparison.

I have this axle, I was going to loan it to Edwin and let him replace it, but it would not fit his. One of our club members thinks it is from an FJ62, the housing I have has sway bar brackets, and I know my 82 FJ60 has none.......
The axle and housing I have are for a future 55 SO project, I have a matching front. I just mentioned this, because I did not know there was a difference.
