clc900 10-25-2001, 06:44 AM Wondering how a D44 will handle skinny 38" boggers? They will be on a early bronco with a big block that sees more mud than hardcore rocks. I ran the 38.5x11 boggers with a Dana 44 a couple of years ago and the combo worked well. He normally mud drags the rig, but it worked pretty good on the rocks in SoDak, even ran Hal Johns with out a problem, and he isn't light on the throttle. EB, 38.5" Boggers, 44/9", and a 572" roller motor. No worries in mud. I have gone through a few u- joints, but everything else has held up fine. And I'v hammered pretty hard on them. Its on a 91 wrangler 4.0L.
