I know, I know, the welder topic has been covered a thousand times...but it's gonna be covered one more time.
So, I came across a Miller syncrowave 180 sd, and I can pick it up for 800 smackers for everything but a tank.
I have read reviews, and found that they are nice tigs, but I am a little nervous that it is going to be breaking my breakers every chance it gets.
Unless I am overlooking something, for this price it is a good deal, it's been used for about 10 hours total. So my question is...is it worth it?
For welding, I do alot of matorcycle frame work, and custom formed gas tanks, etc. etc.
I also do alot of work on my jeep, so is this a strong enough unit to do links, steering etc.
I am just looking for a little reasurace before dropping the bones. Any insight/advice is welcome. thanks
