Would this be adequate for an anti-wrap bar?

I called every steel place I could find in Maine.

Only one place really had any idea what I was talking about as far as "tube". I tend to do more education than anything else whenever I go buy something.

This place only had the 1.75 x .095 and 1.5 x .083.

Found one other place with .120 wall 1.5 and 2" stuff, but they want like $4/ft.

Is .095 adequate? Is .120 common with cages and such or is anything thinner used?

You guys/gals in CA, consider yourselves lucky. I feel like I'm the only one in the state sometimes.

Anyone in Maine have a tubing bender?

Spend money up front for quality tube. You might save now with cheaper tube thats not as storng but if you break it you gotta start all over again. Go overkill from the beginning <IMG SRC="smilies/biggrin.gif" border="0">

Try aircraft spruce for any tubing that you need, they only sell 4130 CDSN, but they sell it by the foot, but if you only need a few feet, its worth it. They mostly do mail order, try www.aircraftspruce.com (http://www.aircraftspruce.com)

I broke my 0.120" wall anti-wrap bar. Next time I'll go 1/4" wall

I think it's too thin, worst case go to spidertrax.com they sell DOM and the inserts for the ends. I think it's like $30 for a 3ft with ends.

cool.

Thanks.

Honestly it sounded too small, but then again .120 for cages sounds too small to me too.
