: Tie Rod options for spring-over steering PLEASE LOOK

I am changing my steering and need a tie rod that has a hole on the pass. side tapered from the FRONT to connect my drag link. I think i remember a Fullsize Wagoneer having this tierod. I can also use a chevy tie-rod backwards and re-taper the exisisting hole from the front. Thanks for any input.

Why don't you just use heim joints? They last longer and you can get them for cheaper.

I used the TRE's mentioned on Billavista's site. The link you posted didn't work,but all the TRE's are from a mid-80's K5 Blazer. Just re-taper the TRE so it tapers front to back and attach the drag link to that. I used the $50 taper reamer from Snap-On. Do a search and you'll find all the info you need.
