ok i know this is gonna sound a lilstupid.. ok a lot stupid..

ive been thinking about riggin up sum sort of system with a extra set of leaves..\

what im thining is flippin the first set over and attaching it to the frame in the middle of the spring...
then bolting the end of the spring to another spring on both ends so u would have a one leave in the correct postion and one upside down.. ... then bolting the axle to the bottom leave..

i know this sounds gay..

but ive just be wondering.. sum one tried this or seen this done?

what draw backs would u see?

axle wrap would have to be taken care of i was thinking linking the axle sum how...

so come on :flipoff2:

 to any one who would be willing to put the info in on this who knows i might feel the ned to try this set up..

if theres good feed back

I believe that is how some of the old buggies seats were attached (that was their suspension, in the seat:D) but you would have to use a link to keep axle wrap down also to help locate the axle...I dunno give it a try and let us know how bad it sucks:D:D:D:flipoff2:

in a system like that you would need not only a traction bar but control arms, if you are goin through all that trouble to set up a 3 or 4 link, than just go with coils or 1/4 eliptic, 2 springs mounted like that cannot withstand the tracing that a normal leaf can, it would look cool, but that is it, wouldnt be worth the time ot effort
