: Tire pressure for 33" BFG Mud Terrains

Just wondering what pressure I should run with 33" BFG muds? I want to maxamize tread life. Right now Ive got them at 28 psi

looks like he has an 00 TJ locked with some other shit. I run mine around 28-30. I dont have anything in my jeep and it has a soft top so its pretty light. I have ridden on the frwy with one tire at 12psi and i didnt even know it. and thats with a detroit in the rear!

I run 24 on the street and 8-10 on the trail with mine.

The best way to determine proper pressure is to put water or a light dusting of powder on concrete, chalk works pretty good. Then with your tire inflated to about 30psi drive over chalk. Start deflating tires and repeat until you get full tread contact. Mine turned out to be around 26psi for the highway. I run 10psi offroad with 12.50s on 8" wheels. Hope this helps.

I run about 24 psi on 10' wheels 91 wrangler. soft top only heavy bumpers.
