I have a Dana 70 from a 1991 dodge 1ton 4x4 diesel my question is are the gear diffrent than a standard dana 70?

There are a few diffrent models of d70's out there. Look up your BOM. Also, on the pumpkin faceing forwards, look on the passenger side for a 70 stamped into the housing. It should say 70, or 70-u, or 70-2u.
