I was thinking about adding a coolant basin to my drill press. What I am thinking was taking a small parts washer pump and tubing it up to the table area. The part I cant think of is, how would I mount a small basin/bucket/sink to the table so it goes up and down as I raise and lower the table. Also I want it big enough it covers the area under the table where the coolant would drip. I have a small stainless sink I think would be perfect for the catch basin. But Ill have to check it out when I get home.
Cutting oil aint getttin any cheaper and my drill doctor is a pain to pull out every time I wanna drill.
Any ideas out there.

My drill press table has two holes going through it: one in the center which allows the table to pivot, and one in one corner that drains the T-slots and table-surround slot.
The middle one, I used a wire coathanger to wire-tie a big funnel underneath of, and then ran a hose to a bucket which has a coolant pump in it.
The regular table drain hole was actually tapped 3/8" pipe, so I just stuck a hose nipple in there, and ran a hose to the bucket.
Run the outlet of the coolant pump up to the top, use some loc-line "hose" to direct it... done. :) No need to attach the coolant pump to the table, just leave it set on the floor and let the two drain hoses ride up-n-down as you raise/lower the table.

I use a "soluble cutting oil", currently Rustlick Ultracut 250R. Comes in 5-gallon buckets for around a hundred bucks or so, I usually use a quart or so of oil per 5 gallons of water.
