I've been seeing a lot of trucks with TIG weave and it seems to be getting more popular (like all things that are cool :D). On a lot of these cages the weld appears to be a lot larger than the thickness of the tubing (assuming most trucks are .120 wall tubing). So I am wondering if the tig weave is actually weaker due to the larger weld size and increased heat effected zone.
