A little background info, wife and I bought a house about a year and half ago. 2800 sqft, 2 car attached (full of wood). Time has come for the garage remodel. PO was a woodworker and doityourselfer electric guru. (first attempt at posting pics)

Here's what I had done. 9X8 doors, insulated, lined with steel, 2 220v(30a) outlets - 3 220v(50a) - 20 110v(20a) outlets. Some progress pics, steel up waiting for doors getting ready for paint.

That's an absolutely fantastic update to a tired older space!!! I really like how you did the walls. Would you mind if I ask where you sourced the metal and what kind of material costs something like that is running? I am looking at doing something similar myself.

Just thought I'd try the Rust-oleum Epoxyshield. Don't know how long it will last, figured it would at least cool for a little while.:p

My job keeps me gone for long periods of time, so I finally broke down and just hired a crew to do the job. They bought all the materials from Knecht Home Center (Ace). I never did get a full brake down of material cost, didn't care so much at the time. Project was started back in August & took till Oct to finish. The steel can purchased at just about any home improvement store thou.

Hells yeah!!!

Epoxy won't be great for weld spatter. Sorry. :( Drop a scrap sheet on the floor if you'll be doing anything intensive.

Looks awesome!!

bueatiuful, hell of an improvement, I have a pole barn that is 34x60, 15' high by 10' wide doors, hopefully I can get all the outlets run by this spring. You have 220v outlets in your shop?
