im looking for the casting numbers on my amc v8. ive found the dispplacement number, but id like to track down when/where my engine was made and what its out of. where can i look for these numbers?

the tag is on the front of the passenger side valve cover unless they swapped sides then it will be on the rear of the driver side.

If you don't have the stock valve covers go ahead and stop looking, theres no telling when/where it came from.
