Ive serched on here for about an hour now, and cant find exactly what im looking for. I found A lot of good info i needed to know and learned a lot, but not what im looking for. I want to know if anyone has a list of different casting numbers on Corp 14B FF w/ 10.5" ring gear and for what they mean. Im looking for one out of a 3/4 ton so I can throw it right in my k10 w/o moving spring perches and shock mounts. Just curious if the casting numbers will tell me if its out of a 3/4 ton or 1 ton and what other info they will tell me, or how I can tell if its out of a 3/4 ton or 1 ton...

I have a better idea. Measure the spring width distance on your K10 and make comparison measurements on the AIQ.

plus 3/4 ton bearing hubs stick out less than 1 ton ones do

the 1 ton hubs stick out a mile

you can tell which it is just by a quick glance

good luckyou are wrong. you are talking about the difference between drw and srw hubs, not 3/4 ton and 1 ton. 1 ton can have both sets of hubs.

i dunno, i have seen many SRW 1 ton hubs that stuck out alot further than 3/4 ton ones do, in fact i have yet to see any 1 ton rear that didnt have long hubs

AIQ = Axle in Question, correct? I should measure the spring perches, the width in between, and the shock mounts, right? Another quick question, I was told that a Dana 60 FA out of a dodge pickup will bolt right up, is there any truth to this? What kind of dodge, i dont know yet, but its obviously an older one. And one more thing, his price was $1500 for both, hows that sound? IO think im almost good to go.

the dodge has a slightly different spring pad width, but the springs can be coaxed into fitting.

SRW 1 ton and 3/4 ton 14b's use the same hub, so they stick out the same distance.
also, they all use the same shafts, so it would have to be a srw, drw thing. this does not include c&c and van axles.

ok thanks guys for the info, one more thing, he wants to sell me both for $1500, is it worth it? It sounds a little high for me

1500 for a set is market value. its not a screaming deal but it could be worse. does it have the gears you want to run? or a locker already? are you sure the front is not a dana 61?

I dont know what gears they have, i havent went to see them yet, i hope so, I need 4.56's because ill be running 37x14.00x17" Iroks. And also not sure if its a 61 or not. Whats the difference between the two?:confused:
