I need some "good" cases too. I am not fond of the double gun case. I don't trust them to hold two rifles in position and not let them bang together in transport without some sort of divider between them. Pelican makes good cases but they're $$$.

I like Starlight cases better than Pelican. I have three of them and they are indestructible and well made. They also will hold two normal sized rifles easily. They aren't cheap, but if you look very thoroughly you can find some deals on them.

I bought a few cheapo hard plastic cases at Wally World for like $12 a piece. They fit all my guns except my scoped AR 6.8. To make the AR fit I have to separate the upper and lower :(

I bought some "double" cases at Big 5 the other day for $20 a piece. They'll hold one rifle nice and tight. I doubt they'll last more than a year or two...but that's not too bad for the price.

I am a big fan of Pelican cases. I bought one of their double gun cases for my trip to Africa a couple years ago and it was no worse for the wear after I got home from the ~18000 miles of flying through 3 countries. Both my rifles were just as peachy as when I left too. They are worth the money IMO.
