4.88 gears for fj cruiser - ALMOST HERE!

Just an FYI for those who need gearing. In a few weeks we will have 4.88 ratio ring & pinions for the new Toyota 8” clamshell style IFS diff found in the front of 07+ FJ Cruiser, 05+ Tacoma, and 03+ 4runners. , EMAIL or call for more details.

Wow, unless my math is wrong with 4.88s and the stock overdrive on 285/70/17 tires, you'd do 62 mph at 2500 RPM as opposed to 82 mph with the stock 3.73s. 4.88s would be nice, but I can't afford the gas :)

I can't get the pinnions on a 4.56 gear to hold up. The 4.88 pinnion is going to be smaller yet. Let me know how they hold up
