I have an old RCI fuel cell with a bad sending unit. Its got the tube type sending unit and I am having trouble finding one. RCI sais they don't even carry them anymore. Can i run the "lever" type of sending unit..or something like this from summit...It is a foam filled tank.

found a tube one from summit...not RCI, but I think it will work if the hole is the same size, and it's the right length. BUT, it's twice as expensive...so my question still stands...will the lever type like i showed earlier work, thanks.
