I was just wondering for those of you who hav broken front Axles which side breaks more often the short side or the long side? or is it about equal.

Mainly short side - and mostly when I forget to unlock.

Short side. The extra length of the long side lets the shaft sort of work like a torsion bar and abosorb some of the shock.
