Congrats to Jeff, Scott and the rest of the team. I just got a call from Jeff and they came in first place in their class. Ray was right behind them. "On their bumper," are the words he used :D

It was an amazing site, 1706 coming down the hill as fast as possible with 1714 less than a few feet off his bumper. When they made the turn into the 'infield' Ray tried to get on the inside of Jeff and almost knocked them both out. But he jumped on the brakes just in time. I was trying to tell Jeff to just Ray go by, he was 90 seconds ahead on time and over 2 minutes ahead of 3rd. Yeah right, he bounced it off the rev limiter all the way down the last stretch and crossed the line just ahead of Ray. Incredible race. They had a plan and didn't get sucked into the sprint at the beginning of the race. Scott Hartman delivered Jeff a perfect car at the end of the first 81 mile loop. Jeff started his lap in 6th and was in second by Pit 3. Amazing

Just walked in, I am still pumped. Final season points look real close. I think a single point between Shaffer and DJR, with the advantage to Shaffer. Great year, great race, great team mates.
