I'm passing this along from Mike Sabbarese at Tustin Hummer.

He's organizing a US Marine Core Toy's for Tots Hummer event for this coming weekend. Bring your hummer and new toys worth 10$ or more to the event, there will be a convoy from the dealership to USMC Camp Pendleton on Dec 8th. There will be food and a raffle. A good chance to help kids and meet other Hummer owners.

Here is the information:

If you want more info. or want to register to go on this event please contact jennifer at (714)669-3699 ex 302 or email her at enniferb@tustinbuick.com. i think i may be falling short of my goal but if you can help that would be great. the marines need a lot of help this year and i can not think of a better group of people to help than hummer owners.

Thank you for your continued support,
mike sabbarese

Steve, the SoCal Hummer dealerships are putting this on so im assuming its Hummers only. From the pics I saw last year it was only Hummers.

Can you verify this? A lot more toys could be collected if it was an open event, sponsored by the dealer.

Something like this one in Nor Cal:
Gold Country Toy Run
20th annual at Lake Natoma, CA. Sponsored by the Hi-Landers 4WD Club of Sacramento. Includes parade, vehicle judging, prizes, and a visit from Santa. Bring a new, unwrapped toy worth at least $5. Proceeds benefit local children's charities.

Confirmed this is a Hummer only event, they are expecting 250+ Hummers at this event.

they are going on almost every weekend in some form or another. This particular one has been organized by Mike S at Tustin Hummer and the Marines so it happens to be a hummer only thing.

Here's a link to another one here in So Cal on the 15th:

Someone posted a video of the turnout, 30ish H1's and about 150+ H2's and H3's from 3 dealerships.

I think we donated enough toys for 3400+ families, so at 10$ a pop minimum thats a fair chunk of change.

Hopefully next time we can integrate a off road event for people afterwards.
