: What Transmission and Transfer case?

I was wondering if anyone knew what transmission, transfer case, and rear end would come in a 1991 f250. The transmission is a five speed. I'm probably going to buy the 5.8 L motor and was wondering if it would be worth it to pull the rest of the drive train as well (Except for the IFS ftont). The parts would be used in a rock crawling rig I'm working on. Thanks.

Tranny: ZF w/small block bellhousing is very desirable for those who currently have the M5OD in their Bronco or F150

T-case: BW1356

Rear end: Ford corporate Sterling 10.25. Bombproof. Talk to YJTJ, he's a 10.25 fan (so am I)

How do I swap the ZF into my EB? I LOVE that tranny in my Tow rig, and would be great if I acn have that in my bronco.

Deffinetly get the tranny...it's similar to a NV4500. So what's this goin in?? Rear end it the same one I have in mine, strong but really heavy. And I may have a use for that IFS now :D

It's the ford Vector truck, Vince wants to sell it to me cheep. $1,500-$2000 maybe less. Not sure what I'd put it in, maybe stretch the 3b a little (or a lot!). How does that price sound to you. What the hell did you buy where you'd need the IFS?

Price doesn't sound bad....The ZF's usually go for close to a grand.

Still haven't bought anything yet, cause all the powerstrokes I've been able to afford haven't been in a good of shape as I want. While looking I did come across a 93 F350 with a vortech supercharged 460 in it for $6500. (Gonna look at it tomorrow)Since I don't want to have to tow a fuel wagon around behind me everywhere I go, I could drive it until for a while then take the supercharga off and put it on my scout :D then put the stock manifold back on the F350. Then take the RC D60 out of the F350 and put IFS in it. This way the Scout could really break more parts, and I'd have another RC D60 front.
