We have developed and found an extra 10-20 degrees of available turning
radius, by modeling and machining dana 60 axles from, stock to top of the line axle manufactures. We have had zero failures on all axles we have produced,(on yoke modification) and they were given the acid test by top names in the rockcrawing and rock racing community; ie, Jesse Haines, Rusty Bray, Ken Blume, Matt Deas, through out the 2007 season.Thanks to these competitors, we have proven that it does not take a huge amount of money to get a huge turning advatage.

Maybe a dumb question, but what are the mfg's saying about warranty's? I have broken a few Yukons, but only at the ears. I assume that if the failure is at the ear, then the warranty should still apply? Will I have trouble warrantying a modified axle unless I buy it thru you?

Not at this time on the d44's.
the shafts are just too small for anymore stock removal.
turning a 44 uj past 35-40* WILL BREAK, along w/ the ears.

every body else , yes some knuckle massage needed, with all knuckles, except the spyder trax, to get 50 degrees. the key is no ujoint bind.
MOST of the time the limiter, is chassis or links interfering before running out of turn radius.

I was reading about this in another post where someone mentioned they had a custom ram built (11.5 I think) can the same result be created by using longer tie rods?

your tie rod length is determined by your front axle track width only.
a custom length ram allows use of available turn travel, stop to stop,
or until tires hit, links, frame, chassis.
axle machining only allows use of available turning, without ujoint yoke bind.

This 50 degree stuff works guys. Ran them all season (KOH, RCQ, XRRA, RCrocs endurance racing, and all around trail riding) turning a full 50 degrees lock to lock and getting on it. Nothing ever broke due to the clearance machining.
