Some time ago I have had here a discussion about axles like D44, D60 in strength and durability. In this discussion I said the best are UNIMOG axles !!! They are. :flipoff2:
Now I have found a german dealer only 40 miles away who offers UNIMOG axles for any kind of Offroad cars for heavy duty use. Stock axles, axles rebuild with disk brake kits, narrowed axles with disk brakes kit, or only the disk brake kits.
May be you are interested, for that , take a look at this URL :
www.tibus-offroad.com.
I have to say, the stock axles are too expensive, if you are interested in stock axles I could offer cheaper one.

Unfortunately MOG axles dont fit to my Jeep XJ, I have just a
project with D44 front and rear. That will do.

I would say so. If he included shipping to my door he is still high by comparison to folks here who are importing them and selling them state side. You might fill him on the exchange rate, aswell and show him some other web sites.

so what is a resonable price to pay for mog axles with the 8x6.5" conversion??? I (not knowing) would have paid that for a front but not that for a rear...no way!!!:D
