For those running full width axles and 4 wheel discs....what MC do you use or did you run hydroboost?
What are the thoughts out there?

Not quite full width but I am running 4 wheel disk. I use the same M/C as before...77 Camaro. don't need hydroboost, or vacume assist..or whatever, stops on a dime!

I'm using the stock 1961 Scout MC, single resevoir POS. Works great, wouldn't recommend it. 1968 corvette MC w/ 1 1/8" bore reportedly works very well, this is what I'm going to use whenever I get around to it. I've also heard F350 MC's work good.
No boosters for me, not needed IMO.

stock 67 Scout 800 MC and P-valve. Locks the 38.5x14.50s right up.

IS the P-valve the vacuum can?
I've been looking for a source on the can. Any ideas or x-refs?
Also, is the vacuum for this created on the fuel pump? I have a weird looking something-thimigie on top of the fuel pump (62 scout)
Thx,
:p

If you have the 152 in there, then that doohicky on top of the pump is probably for your windshield wipers

Great, I guess that means that I'm gonna have a helluva time getting those to work again. :(
Is the vacuum canister connected to the intake mainifold via a check valve or something like that? Additionally, will I need to forget this canister completely if going to 4wheeldisk, and 2 circuit brakes? The 62 had a single circuit brake system. Ugh, too many variables..

I don't know about yours but before I pulled everything out of the engine bay(and I mean everything) there was a hard line coming from the fuel pump to the intake. I wouldn't sweat the vacume assist idea none, if I were you. Just my .02

For those who do not have the low pro hydroboost setup, where the fawk did you put the vacuum canister? I dont have ANY frigging room on the mount plate for much of anything. DO I need to fab up an adapter? This is for a scout-80, not a S-II.
Thx
